Now, these came out easy. For me this was a relaxing painting session with a few obstructions on the way. Nonetheless, gerbers seem to be a very rewarding subject and I like the simple colors.
Hey there, thanks for your visit. Sometimes, when painting people, I tend to speed up the tempo... and feel a bit tired afterwards. I am planning to move to bigger scale canvas to get a better workout. The larger it is, the better you make use of the whole body movement. I like how it shows on the strokes and picture overall.
The feedback I usually get for the black hill is it needs to get used to. Still it is my favorite, so I am very glad you liked it.
I have to admit to being very lost nowadays in the speed of everyday struggle to keep this corner up to date. Since my student times, I feel like living on one of the main metro stations in Prague, where you have 10 seconds to get in and less to get out. The lack of creativity in one's life is poping up reminders in the head and just makes it boil until you have to do it, or dismiss. I am in no mood for dismissal yet. The gray of all around will need to be broken by color of new very soon.
Made from a retraced drawing I did a while back. My daughter could have been 7 years old then. She was thinking of what to draw next with a color marker. She just got a set of markers for her birthday present.

The black hill down there is very attractive.

Thanks for the comment.
I like your stuff too. It's really good. We should form an intercontinental painters brigade.
